NCAA Basketball, known in Japan as Super Dunk Shot and in Europe as World League Basketball, is a basketball simulator for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was developed by Sculptured Software and published by HAL Laboratory and Nintendo in 1992 in Japan and the United States, and in 1993 in Europe.
The game was notable for its three-dimensional view of the court, utilizing the console's Mode 7 effect. The player with the ball is viewed from behind, facing the basket where they must score, and the stage rotates according to their movements.
The North American version features the official NCAA teams, albeit with fictional players. The Japanese version includes fictional teams that closely resemble those of the NBA. The European version contains fictional leagues from around the world.
